Budapest, 11 June 2007

TADIG, the working group of the GSM Association in charge of the roaming data interchange specifications held its 63rd plenary meeting in Budapest between 22-24 May. Allround was the proud host of this successful event where several upcoming GSMA standards were approved. The most significant issue is the new standard to combat roaming fraud: the Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange (NRTRDE). All GSM operators shall comply with these new requirements by 1 October 2008.

With more than 80 participants the meeting produced the highest turnout of recent TADIG meetings. Delegates represented 35 countries and 54 companies from all over the world.

After the meeting Allround organized a separate workshop and roundtable discussion about the hot topics around NRTRDE implementations. Participants representing 12 companies exchanged their thoughts and plans about how to ensure the winning strategy to change to the new standard.
