Allround launches new service - RAP analysis - to maximize roaming revenues

Allround, based on its expertise as leading provider of roaming management solutions, experienced that several GSM operators lose revenue because of a technical problem: a serious amount of erroneous files send back from roaming partners (Returned Account Procedure). In most of the cases inadequate RAP handling results in this revenue shortfall. What is the problem? RAP handling is usually ignored thanks to its ad-hoc and time consuming characteristics. Since the lost roaming revenue can be significant it worth checking up this topic thoroughly.

TADIG, the working group of the GSM Association in charge of the roaming data interchange specifications held its 63rd plenary meeting in Budapest between 22-24 May. Allround was the proud host of this successful event where several upcoming GSMA standards were approved. The most significant issue is the new standard to combat roaming fraud: the Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange (NRTRDE). All GSM operators shall comply with these new requirements by 1 October 2008.

Barcelona, 13 February 2007 Allround will host the TADIG #63 plenary meeting between 22-24 May in Budapest. There are several important agenda items for the upcoming meeting, including the finalization of the NRTRDE, RAEX AA.14 and Electronic Invoicing specifications and supporting documentation.

Under the Spotlight - Traffic Data Retention

New EU directive has resulted in the required retention of all data related to telecommunication service providers’ traffic. The directive entered into force in May 2006 EU wide harmonizes data retention obligations. Operators must implement the adequate systems to comply with the requirements by the time member states enforce their national laws.

Allround enjoyed a highly successful 3GSM World Congress 2006 as an exhibitor at the Hungarian National Stand. The event produced the highest ever attendance making it the biggest show of the global mobile industry.

The official opening ceremony of the Hungarian National Stand was held by Mr. Mihály Jambrik, Administrative State Secretary of the Ministry of Informatics and Communications.

British Approvals Board for Telecommunications (BABT), the international radio & telecommunications Certification/Notified Body, has awarded CeDaR from Allround, a leading provider of communications system support software, the world's first BABT Certificate of Attestation against its Code of Practice for the design and supply of communication support systems.
