ALLROUND was founded in 1991. The company started working for
clients from various industries providing high quality IT services. These
companies included HBO; MOL, the biggest Hungarian oil and gas
company; Securitas Rt. a financial security firm and also
The Ministry of Culture and Education. In 1994 our experts participated in launching commercial GSM Services in Hungary. With this project the company entered a new area that later on became its main focus: mobile telecommunications. The next five years saw the shifting of the company's field of activity from IT services to software development with new product releases and acquisition of new clients. In 1995, ALLROUND's Fraud Detection System was released, followed by a Rating application in 1998. During these years ALLROUND established successful and long-term business relationships with Westel - the market leader Hungarian mobile network operator now known as T-Mobile Hungary - and EuroTel - Slovakia's leading GSM operator - the company's first client outside Hungary. ALLROUND also allied with software giants Microsoft and Oracle, becoming a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider in 1995 and an Oracle Certified Solution Partner in 1999. At this point the company had already committed itself to mobile telecommunications and was ready for global expansion. The XXI. century has brought a number of transforming events to ALLROUND. The company's current flagship product CeDaR was released in 2001, introducing ALLROUND's unique core technology: the flexible, data-driven format handling. Other product releases included CeDaR Utilities and Interconnect Bypass Detector. Since 2001 ALLROUND is ISO 9001:2000 certified. In this framework, the company set up stringent requirements to ensure our commitment for developing high quality products and providing excellent services. ALLROUND became an Associate Member of the GSM Association in the Security System Supplier Category in 2002 and later became listed under the GSMA Standards Supported Category as well. Since joining the GSMA, ALLROUND has participated actively in the Association's working groups. The company expanded its scope of partnerships with Sun and HP. ALLROUND has become a regular participant in major events of the mobile industry in recent years, exhibiting at the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes and at Billing Systems in London. The company's business has expanded to North and South America and most recently to the Middle East and Africa making ALLROUND a global provider of CDR processing solutions and Operational Support Systems. In another landmark, ALLROUND reached full coverage of the Hungarian GSM operator market. ALLROUND was given the " IVSZ Software Export Award - 2004 " for achieving excellent export results. The award was established by the Hungarian Association of IT companies and it is given to companies that show excellence in converting IT R&D results into sales of innovative products in the global marketplace. |
